Lynne Marotta - International Master Teacher

After having fallen down the basement stairs of her home and tried several common methods of pain relief, Lynne found this gentle bodywork that restored alignment and reduced the severe pain in her back. She then began her study of this osteopathically based work in 2002 and reached her associate level in 2004. In November of 2007 Lynne Marotta became the first certified practitioner in New Jersey, of Ortho-Bionomy and has nearly completed 1,000 hours of training for her advanced practitioner status.

Lynn is also an International Master Teacher of Callanetics. In 1992 Lynne began to work with Callan Pinckney, the founder of Callanetics, several times a week while teaching at the Callanetics Studio of Manhattan in New York City. After 2 years of practice she studied Anatomy and Physiology, through movement, with Irene Dowd in New York City. Lynne assisted in training's of Callanetics teachers under the then current Master Teacher, for one year. On September of 1995, after four years of teaching and study, Lynne became first a senior then a Master Teacher. After seventeen years of teaching and training teachers around the world, Lynne offers her clients at the center private lessons and access to her group classes.

Ortho-Bionomy

Ortho-bionomy is a gentle yet deeply effective form of body therapy, which is used to reduce tension, improve structural alignment, and restore well-being. The techniques are osteopathically based and are safe, gentle, and comfortable. Ortho-Bionomy is effective with both acute and chronic conditions including whiplash, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraine headaches, repetitive injuries and stress.
